Inter is planning significant roster adjustments for the upcoming season, focusing heavily on midfield reinforcements and a goalkeeping reshuffle. A key discussion centers on Aleksander Stanković. Inter is expected to re-sign him from Club Brugge, though a substantial offer could tempt them to sell.

To strengthen the midfield, Liverpool’s Curtis Jones remains a top target. Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries could depart if his €25 million buyout clause is activated this July, a move that would alter Inter’s market strategy.

Management is also scouting several targets, including Marco Palestra, Tarik Muharemović, Oumar Solet, Luka Vusković, and Ronald Araújo. In goal, Josep Martínez is poised to become the primary starter. The club is actively seeking an experienced backup to support him, with Lazio’s Ivan Provedel high on their shortlist.

Several major departures are locked in. The contracts of veterans Yann Sommer, Francesco Acerbi, and Matteo Darmian are expiring and will not be renewed, marking a clear shift in the squad’s core. Conversely, Inter intends to offer contract extensions to Stefan de Vrij and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. While the club is keen to keep both, the Armenian midfielder is still weighing his options and has yet to make a final decision.

Finally, Inter’s management maintains a long-term dream transfer. They are keeping a close eye on Argentine attacking midfielder Nico Paz, who is reportedly expected to be bought back by Real Madrid from Como, keeping the Milanese club alert to any future opportunities.
