The primary objectives for Real Madrid in 2025 are to enhance both the flanks and the center of their defence while also introducing some new blood into the midfield. According to various sources, the club’s current wishlist includes several names that could soon join the squad.

The most talked-about transfer is the acquisition of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool. It is rumoured that the star player has already reached an agreement with Los Blancos, and his arrival is expected to provide much-needed stability on the right side of the defence. The Englishman is seen as the long-term successor to Dani Carvajal, who is currently recovering from a serious injury.

The left side of the defence also needs improvement, as Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia have failed to meet expectations. Therefore, Real Madrid is considering re-signing Miguel Gutierrez. Additionally, scouts from Los Blancos are closely monitoring Dean Huijsen of Bournemouth as a potential long-term addition to the center of their defence.

Although major changes are not anticipated in the attack, the midfield might see some refinements. As reported by Fichajes, Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Nico Paz from Como are on the radar of Real Madrid’s authorities.
