Bradley Barcola is a prime example of the updated transfer strategy by Paris Saint-Germain, which now emphasises signing young, talented, and standout French players. On the final day of the summer 2023 transfer window, Barcola moved from Olympique Lyon to PSG for a fee of 45 million euros.
Now, the Parisian club could sell him for nearly three times that amount. Over the last three years, Barcola has evolved into one of the premier wingers in Europe. Recently, he has attracted interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.
According to reports from Le10 Sport, PSG is well aware of the high level of interest the 23-year-old is generating. Consequently, the club has set a price tag ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The expected transfer fee is a staggering 130 million euros. The report indicates that such demands have caused potential suitors to hesitate. Although Liverpool and Arsenal are very intrigued by Barcola, they are not willing to meet that lofty valuation.
While he played just 1750 out of a possible 2610 minutes in the league, he featured in 29 matches, scoring 11 goals. In total, during his tenure at PSG, Barcola has netted 39 goals and provided 37 assists across 152 appearances. His honours include two UEFA Champions League titles and three French league championships.
