Sergio Ramos, alongside Five Eleven Capital, is close to finalizing a significant deal. According to reports from Carrusel Deportivo, the La Liga club will soon have a new owner, with the former Real Madrid defender and Spanish international among the key figures involved in the acquisition.

Insiders have disclosed that the 39-year-old and his partners are currently evaluating the financial statements of Seville, with plans to complete the deal in the coming months. The purchase offer, reportedly amounting to €450 million, has already received shareholder approval.

Sergio Ramos previously played for Seville between 2003 and 2005 and returned for the 2023/2024 season. Currently, the team at the Estadio Ramón Sanchez-Pizjuan sits in 11th place in the Spanish league standings. The Andalusian side has 24 points, trailing sixth-placed Real Betis by eight points.

Seville’s next league encounter is scheduled for next week, an away match against Mallorca. In their last five meetings, Mallorca secured two wins, Seville triumphed once, and two games ended in draws.

During the past weekend, the team managed by Matias Almeyda claimed victory over Athletic Bilbao. Despite the Basques opening the scoring, the hosts orchestrated a remarkable comeback to take the win. To victory, Sevilla was led by Peque and Akor Adams.
