Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo continues to leave a remarkable legacy every time he steps onto the field. This Sunday marked yet another milestone in his illustrious career. Ronaldo delivered a spectacular bicycle kick goal during Al-Nassr’s 4-1 triumph over Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League.

This extraordinary goal, scored during stoppage time, sealed the win for the team managed by coach Jorge Jesus. Notably, Sunday also marked Ronaldo’s 1300th professional match. Over the span of 23 years as a professional player, he has now amassed 954 goals. The superstar’s unmatched journey toward achieving 1000 official goals presses on relentlessly.

With this victory, Al-Nassr solidified its lead in the Saudi Pro League, maintaining a perfect record. The team has secured all 27 points across nine matches so far. Al-Hilal, last year’s champions and former team of Jorge Jesus, climbed into second place with 23 points, followed by Al-Taawon in third with 22, after being held to a draw by Neon this Sunday.

The encounter showcased Al-Nassr’s dominance in the Saudi Pro League from the very beginning. Under the guidance of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the team pushed forward aggressively from the opening whistle.

Al-Khaleej managed to hold on defensively until almost the end of the first half. However, João Félix broke the deadlock at the 39-minute mark. This opening goal eased the pressure on the league leaders, who quickly extended their lead to 2-0 by the 42nd minute with a goal from former Corinthians player Wesley.

Al-Nassr will return to the field next Sunday, facing Al-Najma, who sit at the bottom of the standings with just one point.
