However, efforts are not limited to bolstering the midfield. According to Gaston Edul, Manchester United is preparing a proposal for Cristian Romero, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur. While the report did not reveal a specific figure, the English powerhouse appears determined to make the transfer happen. Additionally, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also tracking the center-back.
Previous reports have indicated that Tottenham values its defender at around €60 million. Romero’s contract with the London-based club extends until the summer of 2029. Over the years, the Argentine has established himself as one of the Premier League’s toughest and most uncompromising centre-backs.
