Paul Pogba has been unable to take the field since September 2023. This was due to a banned substance detected in his system, resulting in a hefty penalty – a four-year suspension.

Initially, this seemed to signal the end of his football career. However, the Frenchman didn’t give up and sought a way back. His efforts paid off with his suspension reduced to 18 months, a period which has now concluded.

The 18-month suspension officially ended on March 11, allowing Pogba to play once again and enjoy football. His future remains uncertain as he currently has no club ties. Despite the reduction in his suspension, Juventus opted not to retain him, terminating his contract prematurely.

During his suspension, Pogba has kept himself in peak condition through individual training. His goal is to return to the French national team and compete in the 2026 World Cup.

What’s next for the 31-year-old midfielder? Media speculations abound about his next destination, with clubs like Manchester United and Marseille frequently mentioned. Teams from Saudi Arabia and the United States are also rumored to be interested, but Pogba’s priority is to stay in Europe and compete at the highest level.
