- Fans will turn on ten Hag if he starts Mctom over Mainoo
Should Diallo be starting over Garnacho?
Manchester United has encountered difficulties with their attacking prowess throughout this season. The deficiency in goals and attacking threat has prompted calls for Erik ten Hag to provide Amad Diallo with an opportunity. Diallo’s lone appearance for United this season was a cameo against Nottingham Forest, during which he left a strong impression when he replaced Antony.
Subsequently, Diallo has been linked with a loan move to Leicester. Nevertheless, he has vehemently denied any interest in departing from Manchester United. Is it possible that the winger might remain and make a valuable contribution to ten Hag’s squad for the remainder of the season?
“I thought Amad Diallo came on against Nottingham Forest and showed more than Antony has done since he arrived.”
“He is very clever and I think, right now, he is better than Garnacho and he deserves to get the chance to get a run.”
“Given Man United´s situation, Erik ten Hag has to give the lad a run. There is so much more in him as a wide player than all the other players.”
“His pace can trouble any opponent.”
Hannibal brave for deciding to snub AFCON
Manchester United’s young talent, Hannibal Mejbri, is nearing a loan transfer to Sevilla for the remainder of this season. Although Everton had expressed interest in the 20-year-old midfielder, it seems that a move to Spain is now in the works. Parker believes that a switch to Sevilla will offer greater developmental benefits for Mejbri than a move to Everton.
“I think it would be good for Hannibal to go to Sevilla and it would be a better solution than moving to Everton.”
“Education wise I think he will gain more from a period at Sevilla. I think he did himself justice at Man United and I think he earned his right to get a bit more gametime.”
“But the life experience of going to play in another country will help him a lot in the future.”
“I think it was a brave decision for him not to go to the AFCON with Tunisia and it really shows that he wanted to prove himself at Man United.”
“He will do much better than Martial and the main reason for that is that he actually wants to try.”
Fans will turn on ten Hag if he starts Mctom over Mainoo
The emergence of Manchester United’s academy graduate, Mainoo, has captured the attention of the footballing world this season. Mainoo’s most recent impressive performance in the FA Cup clash against Wigan adds to his growing reputation. The 18-year-old academy product has now accumulated nine first-team appearances in what can be described as a breakthrough season at the club. His remarkable composure on the ball and exceptional passing ability have filled a significant void in the Manchester United midfield.
Parker strongly advocates for Mainoo to be a consistent starter, ahead of his fellow midfielder, Scott McTominay. He believes that if manager Erik ten Hag chooses to start McTominay over Mainoo, it might lead to a backlash from the United fanbase.
“Manchester United are in serious, serious problems if Erik ten Hag ever choses to have McTominay on the pitch instead of Kobbie Mainoo again.”
“Scott McTominay is never disciplined and it does cost Man United a lot of goals against, we saw it against Nottingham Forest as well.”
“He has nowhere near the quality and energy that Mainoo has. Mainoo is a young lad with a lot of energy and everything about him suggests that he should play.”
“He has shown incredible talent and he is one of the few positives about this club at this moment in time.”
“The fanbase will start questioning Erik ten Hag even more in the future if he decides to play with McTominay ahead of Mainoo.”
