Arsenal FC is actively seeking reinforcements for their attacking lineup. Following the official addition of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as their first summer signing, joining from Chelsea for €5 million, the North London club is now gearing up for further transfer moves. Strengthening the competition on the wings has reportedly become a top priority for Mikel Arteta.

According to the French publication “L’Equipe,” the English Premier League runners-up have shown significant interest in Maghnes Akliouche, whose remarkable performances at AS Monaco have turned heads. The 23-year-old Frenchman recently concluded an impressive season, tallying seven goals and providing 12 assists. Akliouche was one of the standout players for the principality’s club, which secured qualification for the Champions League.

Known for his exceptional technical skills, acceleration, and creativity in attack, the French winger has garnered attention not only from Arsenal but also from Liverpool, PSG, and Manchester City. The North London side is reportedly considering making an official bid in the coming weeks. However, one potential challenge could be his price tag — Monaco values their player at approximately €70 million. Akliouche’s current contract at Stade Louis II extends until June 2028.

The spending doesn’t stop there. Arsenal continues to search for a prolific central striker, a position that will likely consume a substantial portion of their transfer budget. Strategic allocation of funds and setting clear priorities will be pivotal for the club’s management during this transfer window.
