52 matches, 42 goals, three assists, and three trophies — this is how Robert Lewandowski wraps up the 2024/25 season. Despite Barcelona missing out on the Champions League final and the Polish international narrowly losing the La Liga Golden Boot race to Kylian Mbappe, overall, it’s been a season to celebrate.

“I believe this was an almost perfect season. We won the league, the domestic cup, the super cup, and reached the Champions League semi-finals, coming very close to the final. But that’s football. Even so, I think we should be very proud, not just for the titles we secured, but also for the way we played. I believe fans and anyone who watched our games could see this team has great heart. That’s why I think we have every reason to feel satisfied,” the Barcelona star told Mundo Deportivo.

How long does the Polish star intend to remain part of Blaugrana? For now, he prefers not to make any concrete promises. “I think I have plenty of time to decide what I want to do after the next season. I can maintain the same level as in the previous season, but that’s the nature of football. There are also other aspects beyond the field that could eventually alter my plans. That’s why I feel it’s too early to think about these matters now. I have some time to rest, and then there’s also the preseason preparation to focus on and ensure I’m ready for the upcoming games. I’m confident I’ll be in great physical shape. We have a few weeks to get prepared for the season. I’ve truly enjoyed being part of this team, and I’m incredibly proud to play here,” Lewandowski added.
