Arsenal is showcasing remarkable form this season, both in the Premier League and the Champions League. However, the Gunners slipped up during their most recent Premier League fixture, where they faced a determined Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. The hosts held the London club to a 2-2 draw, with Dutch forward Brian Brobbey scoring a dramatic equalizer in the 94th minute.

Meanwhile, in Spain, one of the most promising attacking talents is making headlines. Karl Etta Eyong has been enjoying an outstanding season with Levante. The striker has notched six goals and three assists in just 12 appearances. In La Liga’s scoring charts, only the likes of Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona, Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid, and Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid surpass him.

Interestingly, the 22-year-old Cameroonian is already being monitored by FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. According to “GiveMeSport,” Arsenal is also planning to enter the race for his signature. Mikel Arteta currently has Viktor Gyokeres, brought in from Sporting Lisbon during the summer, as an option in his attacking lineup.

Eyong joined Levante in September, transferring from Villarreal for just three million euros. His rapid progress has turned him into a key asset for the team. The forward, under contract until June 2029, has impressed scouts across Europe with his versatility and dynamic performances on the pitch.

Mobility, physical strength, teamwork, and exceptional movement on the field make Eyong capable of playing both as a traditional “number nine” and a deeper-lying forward. In October, the talented striker also made his debut for the Cameroon national team. His value has been steadily increasing week by week, and currently, the Transfermarkt.de platform estimates the player, born in Douala, to be worth 20 million euros.
