Recent hours have seen numerous speculations about the future of Erling Haaland. Reports suggested that Barcelona is considering the possibility of signing the striker in the future and working to secure priority in any potential transfer deal.
However, the player’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has addressed the matter and dismissed these claims in an interview with La Sexta, stating there have been no discussions.
– We hold great respect and admiration for Barcelona, but there has been no contact regarding a possible transfer, Pimenta said.
Pimenta further emphasized that the Norwegian star is fully content with his current position at Manchester City and is not considering a move elsewhere.
– A few months ago, the player signed an extended contract and is very happy at Manchester City. Everything is going smoothly, and there is no reason for any transfer discussions, she added.
Haaland recently inked a new deal with the Premier League club, keeping him tied to the team until 2034. This is yet another indicator that his immediate future is firmly rooted in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Earlier, reports also emerged claiming that the striker has no intentions of moving to Spain.
It currently appears that the Norwegian intends to continue his career at Manchester City, and any transfer rumors will have to be put on hold.
