Real Madrid underwent significant roster changes this summer, accompanied by the appointment of Xabi Alonso as head coach. The Spanish manager has had an impressive start to his tenure with the club. After eight rounds in La Liga, the team is leading the table, despite suffering a heavy loss in a high-profile derby against Atletico (2-5).

Despite the strong start to the season, there’s a possibility that one or two players could leave during the winter transfer window. These are players who have yet to secure a consistent spot in Alonso’s lineup.

Among them is Gonzalo Garcia. The 21-year-old forward made a name for himself during the FIFA Club World Cup, where he scored four goals in six matches.

However, since the start of the season, he has struggled to find regular playing time with the first team. Additionally, he faces stiff competition for minutes from Endrick.

According to the Spanish outlet “Marca,” Getafe has once again expressed interest in signing the young attacker, having made attempts during the summer transfer window to bring him to Coliseum Alfonso Perez. A loan move to another La Liga club could benefit Garcia, providing him with the opportunity to grow and develop further as a player.

Garcia extended his contract with Los Blancos in August, tying him to the club until 2030. So far this season, he has featured in six matches, spending a total of around 100 minutes on the pitch. Notably, he provided an assist for Brahim Diaz’s goal in a match against Kairat Almaty.
