– I think the challenge with trying to replace Mohamed Salah one-for-one is simply that players like him are incredibly rare in the current market – Steven Gerrard commented during his talkSport interview.
– Michael Olise could certainly be one of those options, but I don’t believe he’s realistically available. From my perspective as a former Liverpool player and based on what I’ve observed, the recruitment team often focuses on having a range of options rather than seeking an exact replica of a player – he added.
Since his move to Bayern Munich, Olise has evolved into one of the world’s most impressive wingers. Over just two seasons, he has accumulated 36 goals and 52 assists across 96 appearances in all competitions.
