Liverpool could potentially face the loss of Ibrahima Konate during the upcoming summer transfer window. Although the French defender has a contract with the English club until June 30, 2026, the negotiations regarding an extension have reportedly reached an impasse. As a result, the management at Anfield Road is actively scouting the market for a new center-back to eventually replace the 26-year-old.

One of the potential replacements for a move to Anfield Road is Evan Ndicka, according to British outlet “TEAMtalk.” AS Roma is naturally eager to retain the player, but a transfer could materialize if the defender expresses a strong desire to leave the Italian side.

The management at Stadio Olimpico has reportedly set a valuation of approximately €45 million for the center-back, providing a basis for possible negotiations with Liverpool. The experienced defender has also drawn interest from FC Barcelona, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Ivory Coast international, capped 27 times for his country, has been a key player for Roma since joining in July 2023 on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt. During the ongoing season, the central defender has made 35 appearances and netted five goals. The specialist platform “Transfermarkt” currently values Ndicka at around €35 million, and his contract with the club runs until June 30, 2028.
