Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, Djordje Petrović, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Kiernan Desbury-Hall – these are just a few players that Chelsea managed to profit from this summer.
The Blues, having offloaded several players, earned slightly above 300 million euros. Despite the transfer window in Europe’s top leagues now being closed, the London team continues to explore ways to part with a few more players.
Chelsea is reportedly still aiming to finalize exits for the duo of Axel Disasi and Raheem Sterling, as reported by Ekrem Konur. Disasi, brought in from Monaco in August 2023 for an impressive 45 million euros, spent the last half of the season on loan at Aston Villa.
While the Birmingham club showed interest in a permanent transfer for the 27-year-old, both parties ultimately failed to reach an agreement. Sterling, on the other hand, spent the entire 2024/25 season playing under the Arsenal banner.
The Blues are hopeful that clubs from Saudi Arabia, where the transfer window remains open until September 11, might step in for the aforementioned players. However, transferring Sterling might still prove challenging – the Englishman has a clear plan for his future.
