Manchester United have reportedly prepared a verbal offer matching the €75 million clause and initiated discussions about contract terms.
Potential hurdles remain, including United’s likely absence from next season’s Champions League and competition from rivals like Chelsea and Arsenal. While Chelsea have shifted focus to cheaper alternatives, United’s willingness to meet the release clause gives them an edge.
