Real Madrid has made the decision to loan out one of their promising young talents. Endrick, who hasn’t played a single minute this season, will now set out to find a club where the 19-year-old can gain regular playing time—a move endorsed by Xabi Alonso.
This strategic choice by Los Blancos aims to support the player’s continued development. As a result, the club has begun searching for a suitable team in various European leagues. Previously, the Spanish coach denied any intentions to part ways with the player.
According to ESPN, this decision came after discussions between Real Madrid’s coaching staff and the player’s representatives. The Brazilian forward’s agents have been in talks with a number of clubs for several weeks. However, a return to Brazil is not being considered, as the club is determined for Endrick to remain in Europe and compete at a high level.
The striker joined Real Madrid in the latter half of 2024 from Palmeiras. The move cost the club 35 million euros, with an additional 25 million included in performance-related bonuses. Since his arrival, the Brazilian has made 37 appearances and scored seven goals, though his role in the team has significantly diminished in recent months.
Despite his young age, expectations were high for him to compete for a starting spot. However, the intense competition in the forward line has proven to be a major challenge for him.
The Spanish giant is confident that the loan will help him regain his top form, allowing him to return to the club as an improved player.
