Robert Lewandowski is officially set to depart FC Barcelona at the conclusion of this season. While media reports were previously conflicting, recent developments have removed all doubt, with an official farewell expected in the coming days.

The Polish captain’s exit is driven by Barcelona’s failure to provide a concrete contract offer, coupled with significant interest from international suitors. Although clubs like Chicago Fire, Juventus, and AC Milan were linked to the striker, reports from “Przegląd Sportowy Onet” indicate he has chosen to continue his career in Saudi Arabia.

The forward has reportedly made up his mind, though he is still deciding between two primary destinations. Al-Hilal has already proposed a staggering 90 million per season, while Al-Nassr has emerged as a late contender. A move to the latter would see Lewandowski sensationally team up with Cristiano Ronaldo.

In his final season, Lewandowski tallied 18 goals and four assists across 44 matches. Over his entire tenure with the Catalan giants, he amassed 119 goals in 191 appearances, cementing his legacy as one of the club’s most prolific scorers.

At 37 years old, he is currently valued by Transfermarkt at 8 million euros.
