Kylian Mbappé is undoubtedly one of the most prominent stars across the globe. As a representative of France, he garners significant media attention, with outlets eagerly seeking exclusive insights from the Real Madrid player. Recently, Mbappé openly shared his candid thoughts on the matter of interviews.
“I’m fed up with interviews. Journalists try to push you to say things you don’t want to share. On the other hand, you don’t want to give them exactly what they’re expecting to hear,” said Mbappé during “The Bridge” podcast, as quoted by “Marca.”
“It’s like a boxing match,” the French star added.
The 27-year-old forward joined the squad at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in July 2024 on a free transfer after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired. To date, the 96-time France international has made 94 appearances for Real Madrid, delivering an impressive record of 82 goals and 11 assists.
This season, the former PSG player has netted a total of 38 goals across 35 matches. Additionally, Mbappé has provided six assists. The French forward will have another opportunity to build on his stats this Saturday when Real Madrid takes on Mallorca in the 30th round of La Liga.
This weekend’s clash will also serve as a final rehearsal for Real Madrid ahead of their highly anticipated Champions League showdown against Bayern Munich. The competition is set to kick off in the evening.
