The highlight of Matchday 3 in the Champions League took place on Wednesday evening. Real Madrid hosted Juventus at the iconic Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Coming off a narrow win against Getafe (1-0), Real Madrid entered the match with a cautious sense of optimism. Meanwhile, Juventus hoped to bounce back after a disappointing performance against Como, which ended in a 2-0 defeat.

Right from the opening minutes, the game delivered thrilling action. Juventus started strong, creating several scoring opportunities. However, as the game progressed, Real Madrid took control, dictating the tempo. Despite the intensity, neither team managed to find the back of the net in the first half, and the match remained goalless as the teams headed into the break.

The second half brought the breakthrough. In the 57th minute, the hosts finally took the lead. Jude Bellingham seized the moment, positioning himself perfectly to slot the ball into the net from close range.

While Juventus attempted to mount a response, Real Madrid looked more threatening as the minutes ticked by. The Spanish side came closer to doubling their lead than the Italian visitors did to finding an equalizer. Ultimately, no additional goals were scored, and the match finished with Real Madrid securing a hard-fought and valuable win.

Looking ahead, Real Madrid faces a formidable challenge in their next fixture as they prepare to take on FC Barcelona. On the other hand, Juventus will be on the road to face Lazio.
