Como has recently become a topic of great interest across Europe. Tottenham made an official offer for Nico Paz, who made headlines after scoring a stunning goal in the match against Lazio, further highlighting his immense potential. The English club proposed a sum of 70 million euros, but the Italian side swiftly rejected the proposal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the decision was unequivocal. The Italian club views the player as their prized asset and considers him untouchable. For Tottenham, this was a clear indication that the possibility of securing this transfer is completely off the table, despite the interesting offer.

The matter is further complicated by the fact that Real Madrid holds a buy-back clause for the player, which becomes active in 2026. This situation discourages Como from selling the player at present, as it could lead to both sporting and financial shortcomings in the long term.

The player himself is not considering a departure either. “From the very first day here, I’ve felt the love from the fans, truly. It has helped me a lot because it allows me to step onto the field with confidence and calmness. I can genuinely say I feel at home and deeply appreciate the support,” said Nico Paz after the Lazio game. His words affirm his commitment to continuing his journey with Como and further developing his career in Serie A.
