Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to part ways with Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window. With his contract set to expire next year and renewal talks hitting a wall, PSG has decided to let go of the Italian goalkeeper.

The club is close to finalizing the acquisition of Lucas Chevalier, who is set to replace him. Meanwhile, Donnarumma is tasked with finding a new club before the transfer window closes.

PSG has put a minimum price tag of £30 million on Donnarumma. Given that he has less than a year left on his current deal, this valuation might be steep for many clubs, potentially leading to negotiation processes.

For now, the goalkeeper is keeping calm and waiting for developments. He is open to leaving PSG, but only if an enticing offer comes from a top-tier European club. Playing in the Champions League remains his top priority.

At present, Donnarumma hasn’t received any official offers. However, Manchester United has been closely tracking his situation, exploring the possibility of adding a new goalkeeper to their squad. This stems from inconsistent performances by André Onana as well as his current injury concerns.

Moving to Old Trafford does not currently ensure participation in the Champions League, but Ruben Amorim is building an ambitious project and aims to steer the prestigious club back on the right track.
